We have some exciting news!
The LFA has been presented with an excellent opportunity for our students to compete in a speech tournament and to also be part of a mission’s trip! One of our newest members in the league is the SF City Impact School. This Christian school is right in the heart of the Tenderloin district and is a beacon of light to those around them. Churches and non-profit ministries have supported their discipleship outreach by serving in one of their mission’s areas of need. Our students have been afforded this wonderful opportunity to help impact the kingdom with their words and their hands! This tournament is the first of its kind as a Speak & Serve event.
SF City Impact Ministries is partnering with our league members on this unique opportunity by providing food and housing at the reduced cost of ($150 for Mon.-Wed). The tournament registration of $25 is separate and is strictly to cover tournament costs.
What an awesome opportunity for our students to experience competition, devotion, fellowship, and service all in one tournament! The SF City Impact School is looking to host the tournament at the beginning of December. What a perfect time to host this event in the season of giving. Let this be a reminder of the gift of salvation that was given to us through Christ Jesus!
