A season of hard work is beginning as Christian school students gather together from across California and Arizona to compete in forensics.
Students are competing for first place in two respective events:
In the team policy debate event, students debate whether or not state the United States Federal Government should substantially reform its agriculture and/or food policy in the United States.
If you’d like to see these students compete in-person, you can volunteer your time as a judge. Competitors are in great need of community members to judge speech and debate rounds and provide essential feedback.
No experience is necessary to judge. Plus, a thorough orientation is be provided upon your arrival. The majority of community judges express how much they enjoyed this experience and how, after seeing these students compete, they have renewed hope for America.
During the tournament, competition rounds occur from early morning through the evening. Judges are scheduled for time slots that fit best within their schedules. Please allow 2-3 hours total between orientation, judging, and filling out your ballot. Refreshments are provided.
